Frequently Asked Questions
What does it cost to sell my stuff with you?
We charge you nothing to list your item. After your item sells, we deduct our service fee before sending you a check for
55% of the price at which your item sells. All eBay and payment processing fees are included in our 45% fee for service.
(In contrast, traditional consignment stores usually give the seller only 40-50%.)
Back to Top Why shouldn't I sell it myself?
You could...you’ve probably been meaning to for quite some time but haven’t gotten around to it, or don’t want to
deal with the hassles. Furthermore, you should expect a better quality result if you hire an expert with the right tools, training,
expertise and reputation.
Back to Top For how long do you list my item for sale on eBay?
Typically, i-NET Sales Partners uses a seven day auction to maximize bidding interest. However, we can run auctions as short as one
day for items with time constraints, such as tickets for sporting events, concerts, and so on. Items that are offered at a fixed
price may take less or more time until they sell.
Back to Top Can I watch my auction while it's in progress?
Yes--that's part of the fun! When we launch your auction, we'll send you an email with a link to the auction, so you can follow the action.
Back to Top What if my item doesn't sell during the auction period?
If your item doesn't sell, you will be notified by email and can either pick it up at the store within 10 days, or allow us to donate your item to charity.
Back to Top Can I set a minimum selling price for my auction?
We do not recommend it. For most of our auctions, the bidding will start at $19.99. Research has shown that in the auction environment of eBay,
lower starting prices inspire more bidding which generally raises the final sale price. In select situations, however, we will begin the bidding
at higher prices. It these case we may charge an advance fee for services.
Back to Top When can I expect to receive my check?
Typically, you will receive a check about 30-45 days from the date you dropped off your item. Please note that winning bidders who delay in paying for your item will
cause delays in our timing for sending out your check. In addition, occasionally a winning bidder may never pay for your item. In this case, we will cancel the original
auction and re-list your item for free. Your check amount and payment timing will be based on the results of this new auction.
Back to Top How does i-NET Sales Partners earn its service fee?
Like any retailer, we make a service fee on the items we sell. This fee is used to cover the costs of photographing, listing,
payment collection, customer service and packing + shipping. Once the item sells, we deduct our fees before sending you a check.
